7. Shipping

Chocolate is temperature-sensitive. We package our products carefully, but we cannot control carrier handling, shipping delays, weather conditions, or how long a package remains outside after delivery.

Customers are responsible for providing a correct and complete shipping address. Cocoa Passion Chocolates is not responsible for orders that are delayed, lost, returned, or damaged because of an incorrect or incomplete address.

During warm weather, we may use insulated packaging, cold packs, expedited shipping, or limited shipping days to help protect product quality. Additional shipping charges may apply.

Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, responsibility for delivery passes to the carrier and customer.

8. Delivery Issues

Chocolate is perishable and temperature-sensitive. Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, Cocoa Passion Chocolates is not responsible for delivery delays, lost packages, stolen packages, melted chocolate, heat exposure, weather-related damage, missed delivery attempts, or packages left outside after delivery.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address and for making arrangements to receive their package promptly upon delivery.

If an order is returned, delayed, damaged, melted, lost, or stolen due to carrier handling, weather conditions, incorrect shipping information, or the package being left unattended after delivery, the order will not be eligible for a refund, replacement, or store credit.

If you believe there is an issue with the carrier’s handling or delivery of your package, you may contact the shipping carrier directly to file a claim. Cocoa Passion Chocolates may provide available order or tracking information to assist with that process, but carrier-related delivery issues remain the responsibility of the customer and/or carrier.

We may review concerns involving an incorrect item or an error made by Cocoa Passion Chocolates on a case-by-case basis. Claims related to incorrect products or order fulfillment errors must be submitted within [24 or 48 hours] of delivery with the order number and clear photos of the product, packaging, and shipping label.

9. Returns, Refunds, and Replacements

Due to the perishable nature of chocolate and food products, we do not accept returns.

Refunds, store credits, or replacements may be offered at our discretion if an item arrives damaged, incorrect, or defective and the customer contacts us within the required timeframe.

We reserve the right to deny refund or replacement requests that do not include sufficient documentation.

10. Local Pickup or Local Delivery

If local pickup or local delivery is offered through our website, customers are responsible for selecting the correct option at checkout and being available during the selected pickup or delivery window.

Orders not picked up within the required timeframe may not be eligible for refund, replacement, or credit due to the perishable nature of the products.

11. Custom Orders and Special Requests

Custom orders, event orders, wedding favors, corporate gifts, personalized products, and special requests may be subject to additional terms, lead times, and payment requirements.

Custom orders may not be cancelled, changed, refunded, or returned once approved or once production has started.
