At Cocoa Passion Chocolates, we take pride in the quality of our handcrafted chocolates. Because our products are perishable food items, all sales are generally final.

Please review this Refund Policy before placing an order.

1. Perishable Products

Chocolate and food products are perishable and temperature-sensitive. For food safety and quality reasons, we do not accept returns.

Once an order has been fulfilled, shipped, delivered, picked up, or transferred to a shipping carrier, it is not eligible for return.

2. No Refunds for Delivery Issues

Cocoa Passion Chocolates is not responsible for delivery issues once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier.

Refunds, replacements, or store credits will not be provided for:

  • Carrier delays

  • Lost packages

  • Stolen packages

  • Melted chocolate

  • Heat exposure

  • Weather-related damage

  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses

  • Missed delivery attempts

  • Packages left outside after delivery

  • Failure to pick up or receive an order

  • Damage caused after delivery

Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking information and receiving packages promptly.

3. Incorrect or Damaged Items Caused by Our Error

If you receive the wrong item or there is an issue caused by Cocoa Passion Chocolates, please contact us within [24 or 48 hours] of delivery or pickup.

To review the issue, we may require:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Photos of the product

  • Photos of the packaging

  • Photos of the shipping label, if applicable

If we determine that the issue was caused by our error, we may offer a replacement, store credit, or refund at our discretion.

4. Order Cancellations

Because many of our chocolates are made in small batches or prepared to order, cancellations are not guaranteed.

Cancellation requests must be submitted as soon as possible after placing the order.

Orders cannot be cancelled once production, packaging, fulfillment, or shipping preparation has started.

5. Custom Orders

Custom orders, event orders, wedding favors, corporate gifts, personalized products, seasonal specials, and special requests are final sale.

Custom orders may not be cancelled, refunded, returned, or changed once approved or once production has started.

6. Local Pickup Orders

Local pickup orders are not eligible for refund if the customer fails to pick up the order during the scheduled pickup window.

Because chocolate is perishable, product quality cannot be guaranteed if pickup is delayed.

7. Taste and Personal Preference

Refunds are not provided based on personal taste preference, flavor preference, texture preference, or customer expectations when the product was prepared and fulfilled as described.
